My name is Janet and in 1988 I had an abortion. I lived in great fear of someone finding out about my secret. Then in 2000 I met Jesus who told me that He loved me. He forgave me for choosing death instead of life for my unborn child. Through the years He has restored my soul through His Word, the Body of Christ, and His amazing, unconditional love. He has given me beauty, joy and peace for depression, fear, and self-hatred. He wants very much to do the same for you!

Isaiah 61:2-3 says that Jesus came to comfort all who mourn, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. It is my personal testimony that these words are true.

Dear Baby Boy,

 

This is your mother writing to you.  I want you to know how much I love you, and how sorry I am for getting rid of you and putting you out of my life because of my selfishness.  I wanted to do something that was not God's will for my life and I thought if you were out of the way I would be able to have my own way.  I really regret my decision and am sorry for what I did to you.  I deprived you of your life, your future, and whatever God wanted you to be.

 

I know that you are in heaven now with Jesus and that you are very happy with Him, and the angels and, your brother and sister.  I also know that God has forgiven me and that you have forgiven me too.

 

I know that I will see you one day and hold you in my arms for the first time.  What a glorious day that will be when I am there with all of you!  I love you with all my heart.
